CKY2K is very similar to the television show Jackass, because the producer, Bam Margera, is a star on the show. MTV licensed a lot of his material from CKY and CKY2K to use on Jackass, so some of the skits might be familiar. Also, the music track for most of the video is performed by CKY, a band that has close ties with Bam and Jackass, because his older brother Jess is their drummer. Using the videos as publicity, CKY skyrocketed into a great music career and now have several albums out. Some great skating as well as some funny skits. HINT:Watch the "video after the video."

The Reason is definately one of the most inspiring skate videos of all time. With a great balance of tech and power skating, it always keeps you glued to the set, no matter what kind of skating you like. They have a legendary group of skaters, too, including Matt Mumford, Danny Gonzales, Cairo Foster, Moses Ikotnen, Stevie Williams, Brian Anderson, and many more. The music is good for the kind of skating they do too, they did a good job making it fit right. It's a nice, long video, and I think it's the best of the Transworlds I've seen so far. I would buy this video if you want something that'll get you hyped to skate every time.

Rodney Mullen vs. Daewon Song Round 2 is great. I heard about this one before I had seen Round 1, and thought it was one of the greatest videos of all time. After you watch Rodney and Daewon's parts, you may have trouble deciding who is your favorite. They both have mad street tech while throwing in some old school flavor. Daewon's noseblunts and fakie manuals are crazy and Rodney's casper and impossible tricks will make your eyes go huge. My chosen favorite is Rodney, he is a classic and will always be a skateboard legend. The other sections of this video include Blind, Darkstar, Speed Demons, A-Team, World Industries, Deca, and Droors team ads. It's a good video with lots of hype.

CKY3 is not as great as 2K and much worse than the original Landspeed video...Although some of the skits are great, the camerawork is sloppy and the music track, which should have been strong all through it, was lacking a lot of CKY, probably because it was too early for the band to produce new songs, but it was also kind of nice to hear other groups for once. The skating, as always, is getting better and better, but there wasn't as much of it, which was disappointing. This video's release was kept pretty quiet, so many people haven't seen it yet. It's that great, but good for a laugh if one of your friends has it.

Shortys' signature video, Fulfill The Dream, is possibly one of the most influential skate videos of all time. Many people that thought Shorty's had a bad team changed their mind after watching this video. Some people still hate them, but I respect Shorty's because they don't do it for the money, they skate for the pure fun of it, because, like us, they live and breathe skating. The skaters chose their own music, so you might not like it all, but it is still one of the first "new school" videos ever released. It lets you watch skateboarding develop firsthand.
