Rain City is a great indoor park that is a place to skate when it's raining. They have 3 halfpipes (1 micro), and an extensive street course with a triple box in the middle with a ledge, handrail and step-up on the biggest, smaller rails on the smaller boxes, and a pyramid with a long ledge. On one end there is a big bank and roll-in, and on the other side there is a long quarterpipe with an extenstion, and a bank with a ledge and shallow quarterpipe. There is a nice gap between the quarterpipe and the top of the bank, too. You have to pay about 7-10 bucks for a full session (non-member), including helmet rental, but it's worth it. You can visit their web site here.

Seattle Skatepark, or Sea-Skate, is an outdoor park across the street from the Seattle Center. It is on 5th Street and is pretty easy to find. But it's crowded most of the time and the whole park is cement, which is bad to fall on but fun to powerslide. They have a pretty nice rail, a vert wall & quarterpipes, a pyramid, a box with legdes, and a snake run with bowl. If you can afford it, I would reccomend Rain City over this park. Their website is located here.

Ballard Skatepark is almost brand new, and is mostly wooden, which I think is better than cement or metal. It's public and is close to my school, so I go there a lot on weekdays. There is a step-up with a rail, a double funbox, a bank and two quarterpipes, along with a halfpipe that is not pictured above. It's close to Market street, so one of the shop owners could probably tell you where it is. You can see their website here.

This is the local skate spot for some of us. If you can't find us anywhere else, we're probably here. The pool is all cement, and has lots of ledges and a big manual pad with a drop. There are tennis courts nearby with a nice 7 in front of them. Also, a few low ledges you can blunt across. Scrags must be leashed.
